Application Requirements & Eligibility

To be eligible for a scholarship, a student and his/her parent(s) or guardian(s) must have resided in Williamson County, Texas, during the last two years of the student’s high school attendance.  In addition, the student must have attended both junior and senior years at a Williamson County, Texas, high school.

High school seniors MUST be ranked in the top 25% of their graduating class.  If this requirement is met, the student should submit a completed application, a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher, an official high school transcript, and a copy of their FAFSA Submission Summary showing a Student Aid Index (SAI) number.

College students, applying for the first time, must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 and should submit a completed application form, an official college transcript for all work completed thus far, and a copy of their FAFSA Submission Summary showing a Student Aid Index (SAI) number.

All documents must be received by the May 1st deadline.

The trustees reserve the right to waive the residency requirements indicated above in exceptional cases.
